One week to go and most of the hard work preparing is done. The temperature has gone up in the last few days and we have some summer storms – this will probably be similar to the weather in The Gambia – so get used to it Any more money around we need it in the bank ASAP. Most of our final payments have been made today – now it’s just the cash we are taking with us.

Lots for me to do in the next few days – make sure you are ready for a tough timetable when we arrive – the Gambian Scouts are putting a lot of work in to get ready for us! By this time next week we should be at the hotel – ready for a long day of travel!
